The power of sound and music are at the heart of Elbow Collective. Recently both Beatrice and Emily have collaborated with live musicians as part of their Yoga Classes in Canada and New Zealand respectively.
The Myth, Mantra and Mudra Workshop explores a variety of chants and mantras (a syllable or sound repeated to aid focus in meditation) and connects them together through the art of storytelling. To cement concentration, mudras (symbolic hand gestures) are used too. The group are able to connect through their collected vibrations but can use mudras as an individual point of focus too.
